I think it’s safe to say that if you read the blog, you know I’m a HUGE fan of pink. Like, Elle-Woods-Obsessed with the infamous hues of pink. Hot, light, blush, mauve… I don’t care. I love it all!:) But regardless of how much I LOVE (obsess) over pink, I really enjoy stretching my wings and doing shoots that involve other color palettes! I like to think outside of the box & combine colors I may not normally so that it really is INSPIRATION for brides!!
Bekah and I went to college together & I am seriously so glad we both work in the wedding industry!! She and I met through CRU (Campus Crusades) and then our Senior year our apartments were across the hall; we’ve laughed, cried, and shared so much together! She’s incredible & I was so excited to do this shoot together! The problem? I threw my back out the DAY BEFORE our shoot – ugh! Needless to say, I want a shoot re-do with her so I can physically enjoy it a little more!:) I was walking around like a hump-back all day, ha!! It was terrible!!
Regardless of my back pain, she did an amazing job capturing everything & I’m SO excited to share these images with you!! She came to me with the initial inspiration for the shoot; she wanted to use this print by Lindsay Letters, using black, white, gold & marsala as the main color palette for the details. I love the print & was so exited we could get our hands on the gorgeous gold gown from Rent the Runway!! It paired perfectly! J’Adorn Designs also supplied some stunning jewelry & everything came together effortlessly! I loved seeing it on United with Love & am excited to share my favorites with you!:)
